*AFL-CIO - The American Federation of Labor and Congress of Industrial Organizations writes to Liz PING, "On behalf of working families we appreciate your support of organized labor and our issues." The mission of the AFL-CIO is to improve the lives of working families, to bring economic justice to the workplace and social justice to our nation. *AFSCME - The American Federation of State, County, Municipal Employees consists of 1.6 million members who provide the vital services that make America happen as well as advocate for prosperity and opportunity for all working families. We are nurses, corrections officers, child care providers, EMTs and sanitation workers. For us, public service is not just a job, it's a calling. At times we are right out front, and at other times we are behind the scenes. Wherever we are, we are proud to take on the responsibility of helping to keep this country strong.

*Cincinnati Women's Political Caucus - The Cincinnati Women’s Political Caucus [CWPC] is dedicated to the eradication of sexism, racism, anti-Semitism, ageism, violence, poverty, discrimination against the disabled and discrimination on the basis of religion, and to ensuring reproductive freedom and freedom of sexual orientation.

*Equality Ohio - Equality Ohio envisions "an Ohio where everyone feels at home: living in families and communities where equality, diversity and inclusiveness are universally valued; and where government protects all people and responds to their needs, regardless of sexual orientation and gender identity or expression." Liz PING is proud to count herself among the elected officials and candidates endorsed by Equality Ohio.

*Greater Cincinnati UAW - CAP Council - "The International Union, United Automobile, Aerospace and Agricultural Implement Workers of America (UAW) is one of the largest and most diverse unions in North America, with members in virtually every sector of the economy. UAW-represented workplaces range from multinational corporations, small manufacturers and state and local governments to colleges and universities, hospitals and private non-profit organizations. The UAW has more than 390,000 active members and more than 600,000 retired members in the United States, Canada and Puerto Rico."

*IBEW - The International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers represents approximately 725,000 members who work in a wide variety of fields. Affiliated with the AFL-CIO, its among the largest highly skilled union.

*OAPSE/AFSCME - The Ohio Association of Public School School Employees is Ohio's largest union representing employees of public and private schools, public libraries, Head Start agencies, boards of mental retardation and developmental disabilities, residential care facilities, community and technical colleges and other private and public institutions. With more than 38,000 members in 480 locals around the state, the Ohio Association of Public School Employees (OAPSE/AFSCME Local 4) is the most powerful voice for the hard working men and women who serve Ohio’s school children, community and technical college students, those in early childhood education programs, children and adults with special needs and those who take advantage of our public libraries and other community services.

*OAPSE Local 4, AFL-CIO - The Ohio Association of Public School School Employees from Local 4, members of the AFL-CIO.

*OCSEA - The Ohio Civil Service Employees Association wrote "We are pleased to inform you [Liz Ping] that the OCSEA Statewide Grassroots Committee has endorsed your candidacy for the November 2, 2010 general election." The OCSEA Statewide Grassroots Committee is the political voice of approximately 32,000 state and local government employees who are members of OCSEA/AFSCME Local 11. It's primary goal is to ensure that its members are successful in their jobs, compensated fairly, treated with dignity and provided safe and healthy work environments.

*OEA - The Ohio Education Association's mission is to advocate for its members and the learners they serve.

*OFT - Ohio Federation of Teachers represents more than 20,000 members across the state that include public education employees, higher education faculty and support staff, and public employees. OFT is the state affiliate of the 1.4 million member American Federation of Teachers.

*ONA PCE - The Ohio Nurses Association Political Contributing Entity wrote to Candidate PING: "The ONA PCE is pleased to endorse you as the candidate for the Ohio House in the 29 House District. The Ohio Nurses Association recognized your efforts on behalf of Ohio's nurses and patients, and thanks you for your support...of nursing issues and your concern with the health of all Ohioans"

*Plumbers, Pipefitters and Mechanical Equipment Service - The Plumbers, Pipefitters and Mechanical Equipment Service Union began, in 1907, as the Steamfitters of Cincinnati because "the working man was finding strength in unity and a powerful voice in determining his own future." At that time "his cry [was] for fair treatment and fair wage for fair labor". Today their theme is "Invest in the Future" which is "the motivation for men and women who gave so much of their time to the building of an organization not suppressed by self interest but advanced to the spirit of union." The Plumbers, Pipefitters and Mechanical Equipment Service Union Local 392 was a generous sponsor of the July 26th PING campaign wine-tasting event at Colerain's own Vinoklet.

United Transportation Union - The Executive Committee of the Ohio Legislative Board, United Transportation Union writes about Ms. Ping: "It is our belief that if you are elected, you will take into consideration the concerns of our union and its membership and allow the general public to provide you with information that will permit you to make sound judgment decisions." The United Transportation Union represents railroad operating personnel in Ohio.
