The 29th district of Ohio Hill resides in the furthermost northwest corner of Hamilton County. It includes the following communities:
Colerain Township
Crosby Township
Harrison Township
Springfield Township
Finneytown
Village of Greenhills
City of Mount Healthy
City of North College Hill

The 29th has seen bi-annual races for the district seat but one candidate, Republican Lou Blessing has spent nearly 30 years in the Ohio Legislature. Beginning in 1983 until he was termed limited in 1996, Mr. Blessing served in the Ohio House. In 1997 until 2004, he served in the Ohio Senate. Term limited again after having served two consecutive 4 year terms, Blessing and the current 29th Ohio House Representative Patricia Clancy, swapped their respective seats, thus ensuring the continuation of the Blessing legacy. Blessing is most recently known for building his baseball Field of Dreams and drafting legislation against cockfighting (HB108).
