Childhood

Born April 9, 1951 in Indiana to Ancille and Kenny Davis, Liz (Elizabeth) grew up the third child, sister to Jeanne, Marilyn and Richard. Liz is quite appreciative for being raised in a small country town where time spent with her close-knit family, outdoor play and and pets gave her a carefree childhood. Liz's father, a blue collar worker, was well known in the community for his integrity and work ethic. He taught Liz to always give 110% effort. Her mother, after retiring from her position as county probation officer, became a successful nursing home administrator. While working with her mother, Liz learned the value and importance of families working together and supporting one another.

After a happy childhood, Liz found herself a single parent with two small girls. Despite the hardships, Liz learned to find available resources to help her take care of her young family and maintain a rewarding life. Today, her daughters are strong, educated women and Liz is retired from a professional position.
